2D Character Concept Artist (Remote)

Contract: Freelance

Duration: Project-based / Fixed-Price Agreement with a clearly defined scope.

What We Need

We are looking for a Character Concept Artist to create realistic/fantastical character designs for Skyrim and our unannounced fantasy IP.

Our ideal candidate has:

• A portfolio containing their best and latest work; detailing their character design process.
• Experience drawing clothed humans and monsters.
• Experience making character model sheets for 3D modelers.
• Professional English proficiency, for communication with team members across the world.
• No use of generative AI in any aspect of their work.

What You’ll Do

• You will be provided with a detailed brief and freelancer agreement containing the exact deliverables for all your assignments. Clear milestones with no surprises for anyone.
• Collaborate with our Creative Director and other artists / designers to realize the provided brief, with flexibility to give it your own spin.

• A background or interest in fashion is a plus.
• Life drawing experience is a plus.

We are looking for people we can work with in the long-term, as we believe making games is about investing in people. Building a studio takes time and the right mix of people, so we are taking things slowly for now.
